Function for using Word Automation
Do you need to interact with a word document from within your Access Databse? Word Automation is a very powerful technique where you can communicate with an Word document from within VBA code in your Access Project. This allows you to do some very powerful things, such as populating an existing document with data from your database, taking advantage of Word documents you've already setup, dump data into a document and format it and wide variety of other uses. The function below shows a very simple example of how to interact with Word from within your Access Application.
The Microsoft Access Word Automation Database is a sample database that shows you how to implement Word automation inside your own Access Database.
